So I went to see a play called the Normal Heart last week. I have to say it was one of the most AMAZING pieces of theatre I have ever seen. It was flawlessly acted by every member of the cast. But the two stand out for me were Ellen Barkin and John Benjamin Hickey both were so on point and reduced the audience to tears by the end of the final act...... The play also has just won three Tonys so a big congrats to them on that.
The play deals with the discovery of the first cases of HIV in New York City. And the fight that a small group of people had go through to get the government to hi light and take this deadly epidemic seriously. Please please please if you can get tickets and get a chance you gave to so see this!!!!! Here is the website to book tickets
